Later the Palmers family bought the great House with the 6000 Ac. Plantation. At this time there was around 2000 slaves working on the sugar cane fields around ROSE HALL.
In 1905 the Henderson Family bought the Great House for to live there. When they died the house was later to hand over to the Goverment of Jamaica.
In 1965 the Rollings Family bought the Great House and restore it from 1966 - 1971. On the old photo yu can see in which condition it was when he bought it.
The Rolling Family did a great job to restore the building and save some of the historical objects. Later it was open for the public for sightseeing tours and special events.
